On Friday 1st April, (April Fool's Day), we held a special fun day to remember Sharon Barnes, who sadly died on Christmas Eve 2010. Mrs Barnes had a long association with King's Road Primary School going back over twenty years. She was a parent, a member of staff and a Governor, who was very special to the whole school community.
To celebrate her life we held a non uniform fun day. As you can see we had a fantastic day to celebrate all that Sharon Barnes meant to us. All of the money raised is being donated to the North West Lung Association, who support people with lung disease in our region. We raised an amazing £1080 and had a great day too!!
