Uganda Appeal

The children and staff of Rubongi Primary School in Tororo, Uganda, wish to thank everyone for their kind support. The joiners did a wonderful job in constructing 60 desk/bench sets to accommodate between 240 & 300 young children. This will facilitate their learning and make school even more enjoyable.

Please read below some of the comments children made from Rubongi Primary School children, in letters sent to our Year 6 children.

I go to school in Rubongi Primary School and I am in Primary One. Thank you for the help you gave our class. We are happy with the new desks and we shall now feel good.

You can imagine at home my parents are poor. They don’t have money for buying food, we can’t just eat green vegetables and millet bread everyday. I live in a grass thatched house, on the floor we smear cow dung.
