Mr D.A. Morgan - Headteacher

My name is Mr Morgan and I am very proud to be able to say that I am the headteacher of Kings Road Primary School.  I have taught in 5 schools in total, I was the Deputy Headteacher of schools in Suffolk and Knowsley before being appointed as Headteacher of a school in Wilmslow in 2010.  In 2015 I became Headteacher of Kings Road.

I have three wonderful children (Ellie, Mathew and Luke) play many sports, including table tennis and follow Manchester United.

My ambition for our school is to build on its rich history and interesting cultural diversity, to empower the dedicated staff, and to create an excellent, exciting and varied learning experience for all members of the school.

I value open, honest and positive relationships; I may not always get it right, sometimes I may even be close but I can guarantee you that I will try my utmost for all members of the school.

We are developing an exciting experience at KR, we believe in creating memorable experiences; during the year we will hold many events, such as Friends & Families Day, All Swap Week (where children get different teachers), KR Eisteddfod, Kings Got Talent, Difference Day, Mantle of the Expert (a week of imaginative, consequential based learning) and houses.

We will work hard for all children to be safe, and will provide an environment that is full of warmth and happiness.  We understand the privilege and responsibility we have in Educating your children.

In short we strive for excellence in all areas without compromise in any!
