Welcome to Reception!. We use 'Igniting Our Knowledge' Maps to ignite our learning and they are based on predictable interests and high quality stories, poems and books. Although these are the starting point for our learning, each day is led by the children and their interests. We pride ourselves on our ability and dedication to follow the interests of our children, immersing them in high quality, first hand experiences.  These maps enable us to plan for portable learning across the curriculum. Each topic begins with an 'ignition' a launch to entice our children into each exciting learning journey.
