Sports leaders

Miss Maclean and Miss Grove are proud to introduce the Kings Road Sports Leaders for 2022-2023

The Sports Leaders Programme is a child leadership training programme empowering young people to take an active leadership of PE in their school. Sports Leaders organise activities at lunchtimes following the current interests of their peers.

Our Sports Leaders completed training at Lancashire Cricket Club in September where they took part in many sporting activities and training.  They met the Lancashire Thunder Talent Manager, Ella Telford, who gave the children some fantastic advice as they embarked on their leadership journey. Our dedicated sports leaders work through a range of tasks equipping them with the skills they need to go on to educate and support their peers.
