These meetings and tours are for those parents whose children have been offered places at the school in either Nursery or Reception. 

 It is the right for refugee children to be supported/ protected.

Come join our free computing classes from Wednesday 17th April. Myself & Mr Allcock will be running these classes and will be covering the following content:

. Basic Microsoft Office skills
. Keyboard skills
. Using email
. Using web browsers
. Using the internet for research
. Digital (device) safety and security

We only have 25 places available so reserve your place now by calling the office and registering yourself. 

This half term we will be celebrating World Book Day on Wednesday 6th March. Vocabulary and conversation is a key focus of our school and to promote this, we would like to invite your child to dress as a word with the definition for our very own Kings Road 'World Word Day.' There will be some fantastic prizes on offer to celebrate our winners.

Leading up to this exciting week, the book fair will also be in, before and after school, all week starting at 8:30am next Monday 26th February. Children will be given a book token which allows them a £1 discount on any book at the book fair. We cannot wait to see the children choosing books they want to read and developing a life-long habit of reading for pleasure.

I`m excited to announce that there are two maths parent workshops coming up which are being hosted by Miss Bloor and Mr Norman. These maths workshops are designed to explain to parents how we teach maths at Kings Road. We also will provide parents with the opportunity to build on your skills and learn the methods, which we use at Kings Road, to teach different mathematical concepts so you can support your children with their maths learning at home.

The workshops will be in the new hall and will be hosted on:

EYFS/KS1 - Monday 4th March (3.45-4.30)
KS2 - Monday 11th March (3.45-4.30)
