  • Children In Need Day

    Fri 18 Nov 2022

This Friday 18th November is Children in Need. It is a special cause which we hold in our hearts at Kings Road.

This year the children will be taking part in a variety of events. Younger children in Nursery and Reception will be making Pudsey biscuits, children in KS1 will be reading stories and creating story maps and KS2 will be working on recognising the different feelings and emotions and how important it is to look after our mental health as much as our physical health.

We will be fund raising and all money will go straight to Children in Need. It is such a worthy cause and we will be immensely grateful for your contributions. We are asking for £1 please.

This day will also be a non-uniform day and children can come dressed in spots, stripes or anything colourful!

  • Show Racism the Red Card!

On Friday 9th September we will hold a 'Be Me' day. This involves the children wearing any (appropriate) clothes that they think embraces who they are, it may be clothes that they are comfortable in or clothes that reflect their heritage, hobbies or religion. I ask that all children bring in at least £1 which we will then send to help those in Pakistan.
